Growing Savannah's Established Businesses

A collaboration of 11 local and state organizations including SEDA, the Business Retention Action Team (BRAT) works together to support established businesses in Savannah and Chatham County. BRAT programs are designed to:

  • Assess and train current workforce
  • Find and train new workers
  • Incentivize the expansion of jobs or investment
  • Provide engineering help when companies incorporate advanced technology in their process
  • Help on how to sell to the federal government
  • Find ways to decrease energy use
  • Offer free pre-OSHA audits
  • Provide answers to logistics issues
  • Provide financing and marketing assistance
