What is SeaPoint Industrial Terminal Complex?

SeaPoint Industrial Terminal Complex is the largest and only available private industrial terminal site located directly on the Savannah River. The redeveloped complex will have some 375 acres that will be divided into various sized parcels for multi-tenant use focusing on industrial, high-tech, and diversified manufacturing companies with compatible interests. The site is the first berth encountered entering the Port of Savannah, which is the fourth largest and second busiest port in the nation.

What features are available?

Companies located on the site will have full accessibility to miles of dual served rail, a deep water berth (42’ going to 47’) with room for two additional docks, low cost steam supply, low cost water, natural gas, warehousing, existing R&D facilities, existing offices, maintenance services, and other amenities.

What makes SeaPoint unique?

Companies that co-locate with us on the site will achieve significant upfront and long term operational savings as well as a faster build out time due to the expansive infrastructure already in place. There is no other site on the eastern seaboard or in the Gulf that offers a deep waterfront site of this size with this existing infrastructure. Additionally, it is ideally suited for companies of varying sizes which have the need to be connected to a vibrant port facility for their importing or exporting of materials because they will have the benefit of shipping or receiving directly to or from the vessels through their own shared deep water berth without having to bear the full cost of independently operating and maintaining a terminal.

Why Savannah?

Savannah is ideally located at the crossroads of I-16 and I-95 and 80 percent of the United States population can be reached within a two-day drive.  The Port of Savannah is the fourth largest and second busiest port in the nation and is also the fastest growing.  With a strong manufacturing base, excellent port, rail, and highway access, a strong workforce development program, and the only large deep-water industrial terminal complex with significant in-place infrastructure, Savannah is perfectly positioned to continue its track record of strong growth for many years to come!
