Fawn says, “I feel that I was meant to come here and bring Chinese medicine to our community.” She felt a little like a pioneer when she first opened her practice, but she believes shifting perceptions in Savannah have made the city’s residents more open to alternative approaches to Western medicine.

“Oriental medicine was relatively unheard of in the South 10 years ago. But today in Savannah, there is a growing interest in it as a complement to traditional Western options.”

Having experienced housing costs on the West Coast, Fawn is thrilled with Savannah’s high standard of living, relaxed pace and enchanting beauty. "Here," she says, "I am able to create an environment of harmony."
