Drs. William and Iffath Hoskins
For their part, the parents “love living on the march and watching it change with the seasons.” They also enjoy walking through City market, strolling the beach on Tybee, and taking turns dining at their favorite restaurants (Sapphire Grill for him, either Elizabeth on 37th or The Pink House for her).
Long-time New Yorkers and world travelers, the Hoskins moved to Savannah in 2001, when William was hired to lead Memorial’s Anderson Cancer Institute. Iffath was executive director of Memorial’s Women’s Health Institute.
Although she is the Chair of the OB/GYN department at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, she still considers Savannah her home. “It’s a beautiful, peaceful place,” she says. “Savannah affords wonderful opportunities to slow down – but only if you want to.”
“If you choose to remain active in your career, it’s easy to stay well-connected and relevant here, even on an international scale.”
