SEDA to Host 4th Annual Luncheon Thursday, May 29th
PRESS RELEASE: SEDA
The Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA) will host its 4th Annual Luncheon on Thursday, May 29th at 11:30 a.m. at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. Advance reservations are required; seating is limited. The cost is $35 per person or $280 for a table of eight.
SEDA is not a membership organization and much of its work is focused outside the area. This luncheon provides an opportunity to connect with the community on activities and on economic development in general. SEDA’s 2007 annual report will be distributed.
The luncheon will feature keynote speaker Bo Burlingham, Author of Small Giants: Companies That Choose To Be Great Instead Of Big (Portfolio, 2006) and an editor-at-large of Inc. Magazine.
"We are especially honored to have Bo Burlingham joining us as keynote speaker this year,” remarked SEDA President Rick Winger. “Just like the companies he profiles in his book, Small Giants, we feel Savannah is consciously choosing to reject growth for growth’s sake alone. To use his words, ‘big does not equal great, and great does not equal big.’”
Immediately following lunch, Bo Burlingham will sign copies of his book, which will be available for purchase.
