Infrastructure
Port of Savannah
Operated by the Georgia Ports Authority, the Port of Savannah is the second largest port on the East and Gulf coasts and the fastest growing in the nation. Specializing in the handling of container, reefer, breakbulk and RoRo cargoes. The port includes the Garden City Terminal and the Ocean Terminal.
Both terminal locations are served by two Class I rail providers and offers immediate interstate access to the more than 100 trucking companies that service the Savannah area.
And with room to grow and the demand for diversity increasing every day, the facility has strategic plans in place for its future expansion.
Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport
With direct flights to 17 major US markets, Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is Georgia's second-busiest airport and one of the fastest growing (and friendliest) in the Southeast. Here, you'll have all the convenience of a larger airport with none of the congestion or long lines.
To encourage international commerce, the Savannah Airport Commission owns and operates Foreign Trade Zone104 , a special designated area where domestic and international merchandise can be placed without formal customs entry and without payment of duties and taxes.Ground Transportation

CSX and Norfolk Southern operate rail yards here, and short line carriers are also available.
Additionally, Savannah is a major stop on Amtrak’s Atlantic Coast service between New York and Miami.
