Savannah is unique in many ways, and this is just one more.

Savannah has the first Business Retention Action Team (BRAT) in the state, which works with established businesses on issues from OSHA pre-audits to utility management, from labor force recruitment to training, from exporting assistance to legislative lobbying and more.

Made up of a group of economic developers, BRAT has representatives from SEDA, Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education’s Quick Start training program, Georgia’s Economic Development Department, Georgia’s Department of Labor, Georgia Tech Economic Development Institute, Savannah Technical College and Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce.
