Teckrez expands Savannah operations through partnership with Porter Logistics

Teckrez, LLC, a specialist in tackifier resins, acrylic monomers and thermosets, celebrated the expansion of its operations with a ribbon cutting at Porter Logistics’ 230,400-square-foot facility.

In early 2026, Teckrez consolidated its satellite operations, selecting Savannah as the strategic location for its growing import and distribution needs. The company selected Porter Logistics to support its operations and anticipated growth through the Port of Savannah.

“Opening our new Savannah facility represents a significant investment in the future of our business and the service we provide to our customers and supply partners,” said Teckrez Senior Logistics Analyst Jake Arcuri. “Strategically located just five miles from the Port of Savannah, the facility provides direct access to one of the world’s most connected and fastest-growing ports while placing approximately 70% of the U.S. market within a two-day drive.”

Teckrez expects to bring 400 containers through the Port of Savannah in 2026 and projects more than 600 containers in 2027. The facility will also include a chemical laboratory that will bring product sampling and testing in-house, enhancing quality control and allowing for faster quality assurance approval and release of inventory to customers.

“The new site also enhances our ability to ensure product quality and consistency through a state-of-the-art chemical laboratory and in-house sampling capabilities,” said Arcuri. “By centralizing inventory and key operational functions in Savannah, we are creating a more responsive, flexible and efficient supply chain while expanding the products and services we offer. Ultimately, this investment strengthens our ability to deliver greater value to our customers and partners.”

“Georgia Ports is proud to welcome Teckrez to the Port of Savannah and we look forward to working closely with them and their partner, Porter Logistics, here in the fastest growing port in the U.S. East Coast,” added Stacy Watson, Georgia Ports Director of Economic and Industrial Development.

Teckrez provides technical and supply solutions specializing in tackifier resins, acrylic monomers and thermosets. The company recently launched Teckset®, a portfolio of epoxy and other thermoset chemistries. Teckrez is also a Responsible Distribution Verified company through the Alliance for Chemical Distribution and holds a bronze rating from EcoVadis, a global sustainability assessment platform.

Porter Logistics’ Pooler facility provides services including 3PL warehousing, hazmat and chemical warehousing, customs bonded warehousing, cross-docking and transloading. Porter Logistics is a platinum partner of World Trade Center Savannah.

“Teckrez had options up and down the East Coast and the Gulf, and they chose Savannah. SEDA’s work had a lot to do with that,” said John Foshee, co-founder and president of Porter Logistics. “We’re investing more than $1 million in the Teckrez Distribution Center and adding technical and warehouse jobs to support Teckrez. Every container they bring through the Port of Savannah makes the case for the next chemical and resin company looking at this region.”

“We are pleased to welcome Treckrez to Savannah and celebrate the opening of its new facility in partnership with Porter Logistics,” said Savannah Economic Development Authority President and CEO Trip Tollison. “Their decision to locate here reinforces the region’s strength as a leader in logistics and distribution industry. We congratulate both companies on this collaboration and look forward to supporting their continued growth.”
