Propelling business in the Savannah region

At the Savannah Economic Development Authority, our mission doesn’t get any clearer: to help create, grow and attract new job opportunities and investment in the Savannah region.

Whether a business is looking to relocate to the Savannah region or an existing business is ready to grow and expand, SEDA is the centrifuge of a propeller, making the connections, helping propel the business to success.

Specifically, through business attraction, business retention and additional SEDA initiatives, SEDA offers customized services to help make it happen, connecting you to the resources needed including workforce training programs, infrastructure, available properties, incentives, tax abatements, utilities, permitting and more.

An independently funded organization, SEDA acts in the best interest of both the client and the community without the hindrances often associated with publicly funded operations.

Contact us today and find out how SEDA can help you and what Savannah can do to propel your business.

Propel Savannah

SEDA collaborated with an economic development consulting firm to produce a Competitive Positioning, Target Industry Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan – or as we are calling it – Propel Savannah. This plan gives SEDA and our community a roadmap to leverage our assets and help us reach our economic growth and diversification goals. It will also give us a competitive assessment of the region and identify target industries that have the greatest potential to foster strong economic growth into the future.

Annual Report

At SEDA, our mission is to help create jobs and attract investment to expand the regional economy. And though the purpose of an annual report is to reflect on the year that has passed, at SEDA, we remain, as ever, focused on advancing forward into the future of continued economic growth and its resulting prosperity for our city, our county and far beyond.

We invite you to take a moment to review SEDA’s 2019 annual report.
